USENET and INN
Having been the USENET administrator for CompuServe for several years,
I gained a large amount of experience with using INN in a large,
syncronized news plant (around 18 servers handling over 500
simultaneous readers each). During this time, I got to know Rich Salz
and others who have helped develop this package, and have made several
contributions myself. I am still a part of the development
group, providing feedback on how the development can make the product
scale better to large installations as well as the explosive growth of
USENET itself, but most of the work I am doing is more of a
long-term nature.
